This quaint town might be best known for the prestigious college which anchors the city, Davidson College. While the college has great reach throughout the community, the town is much more. Davidson has a vibrant downtown full of stores, dining and Galleries. Many of these reside in the historic buildings but have brought new life.

Bordering Lake Norman, Davidson has plenty of outdoor activities and is great for adventure seekers. A large stretch of Greenway runs through this area bringing cyclists, walkers and runners a much-needed place to delight in.
